Doris E. Campbell's Obituary
Doris E. Campbell
"Blossom"
3-8-1925 to 5-16-1998
My Angel got her wings.
Blossom lost her year long battle with cancer. She was a lifelong resident of Washington. Born in Buckley, Washington to Emmett and Ivory Jones. She was raised in the South Summit area and attended Collins Grade School and Roy High School. She was a very loving person who saw good in everybody. She will be long remembered by her family and everyone who knew her by her kind, friendly, helpful and uncomplaining ways. She dearly loved her beloved dogs and they in turn loved her. She also loved the outdoors, rock hunting, craft work, and her flowers and garden.
She leaves her loving husband of fifty years Frank, daughter Gail and her fiance Keith, sons Frank Jr. and Tom (Cheryl), sisters June (Roy) Marshal and Lila Keep, very close friends Josie Anderson and Ginny Matson, grandchildren, who she loved very much, Sammy, Brooks, Mark, Scott and Renee, three great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews Jan, Toni, Troy, Bob, Gin, Earl, Eddy, and many friends.
The family wants to give thanks to Dr. Thomas Baker, the loving care given to her by the staff of Oncology N.W., Tacoma Radiation Center, the late Harry Lawson and wife Sharon and Robby, and many thanks to Franciscan Hospice.
