Kelly
I didn't know Doris well, but she was one of those coworkers who always put a smile on my face when I saw her heading my way. One day, while I was working at the front desk of our office building, I started singing to myself. Uptown Girl had been stuck in my head for weeks and it just came bursting out of me. I'd thought no one was around, but then from around the corner comes Doris. She starts singing with me, so I jumped up and we danced around like kids until we forgot the lyrics. We laughed, and she gave me a hug, then we went back to our designated work spaces to get on with our day. That was pretty indicative of who Doris was to me. It's one of my best workplace memories, and I'll cherish it always. My deepest condolences to those of you missing her today.
