Dora Mae Bill
On June 28, 2012 Dora Mae Bill (91) peacefully passed on to the arms of the Lord. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, deeply devoted to her faith in God.
Dora was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, and a talented seamstress who enjoyed making handmade quilts for her family. She was an active and founding member of the Tacoma Indian Baptist Church.
Dora was preceded in death by her husband Felker Bill and daughter Diane Bill.
Dora was born in Hugo, OK, December 1, 1920. She is survived by her loving children Wayne Bill, Kenn Bill and Alretta Bill, all of Tacoma. She is also survived by her brother Isaac Roberson as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A viewing will occur on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Mountain View Cemetery from 2pm to 6pm. Funeral services will be Monday, July 2, 2012 at the Garden Chapel in Mountain View Cemetery at 11am with lunch to follow at Tacoma Indian Baptist Church.
