Donna Lavonne Hendrickson's Obituary
Donna Lavonne Hendrickson was born in Tacoma to Byrd and Mary (Dawson) Marshall on June 17, 1927 and passed away on December 25, 2023 at the age of 96 from complications with a kidney stone. She lived a long life and had a sound mind until the end, something she was fiercely proud of.
As a teenager, she loved to roller skate and was at the rink when she met the love of her life, Tom Hendrickson. They were married for 69 years when he passed away at the age of 90 in 2014. They had 3 children, all girls, and made their life in Lakewood. She enjoyed cooking, camping, bus trips, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, oldest daughter, Mary Christine, and her only sister, Dorcas Logan, who passed away earlier this year. She is survived by her daughters Melanie Burke and Kim Bullard (Jess), 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
