Donna Rae Brock's Obituary
Donna Rae Brock, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in Gig Harbor, Washington. She was born in Yakima, Washington to Thomas Merle Rhodes and Thelma Mae Kitterman on October 19, 1935. She married her soul mate, Ed Brock, on May 23, 1975. They celebrated their 48th anniversary this year.
Donna and Ed shared many years travelling and enjoying their home where they had endless energy with everything always in its place. Donna was a great cook, devoted homemaker and loved her garden.
Donna is survived by her children Robert (Deanne) Brock, Pam (Tim) Gargurevich, Lorraine Chambers, Terri McGrath, Janice (Michael) Dooley and Scott (Gail) Nicholson. Grandchildren Robert and Samuel Brock, Jeremy (Tina) Gargurevich, Dawn Bean, Kristi (Dustin) Humbert, Megan (Kavik) Lester, Brandon (Tamina) Dooley, Aaron (Lannie) Dooley, Renee (Marcus) Lee, Andrew Nicholson and Jennifer (Jared) Pedroza and great grandchildren Deanna and Dante Brock, Daisy and Ellie Gargurevich, Jeremiah and Hailey Bean, Brody and Camden McGahuey, Maxwell Lester, Luciana Dooley, Ariana and Roman Lee, Alayah Dooley, Olivia Nicholson and Ayla and Alana Pedroza. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed, mother and father, brothers and sisters Myrle Rhodes, Charlie Rhodes, Kenneth Rhodes, Betty Jones, Evelyn Jenks, grandson Jonathan Chambers and great grandson Brody Fairchild.
Donna leaves her loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends, and all of the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.
A Graveside Service for Donna is scheduled for Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at 1:30 PM, at Mountain View Memorial Park, followed by inurnment.
