Hey Dad,
I have some things to tell you. Some will know what I am saying,others will wonder.Here we go;
I know the difference between a shindig and time to shagnasty.I know an Oakie drifter and that you liked to fish with a stoplight.I can open my front door and step outside into a world with so much adventure.Mountains,the ocean,lakes and rivers.
There is a blue star, cowboy's and Indians are real.You're lucky if in your lifetime you have a few good friends.Sometimes family is all you've got..Rainbow trout&cut throat trout. Use Periwinkles or halgamites for fishing.You believed in god the same way you knew the sun would rise in the morning.Picnics,fishing,hunting,hiking,camping and long drives. There's no "R" in Washington. You have an ice box at your houseYou have said If one day, you're in a in a pool full of alligators, snapping at all you've got, just let the water out.Don't hang on to a tigers tail.Who you are is what really matters.Black powder,lead slugs,powder horns& muzzle loaders. Bagpipes make can make a grown man cry.Ten speeds&ponies.Hooey sticks for fun.You loved each and every one of us and boy did we love you too.We all had our own relationship with you and knew you our own way.This May I will be starting blue lake beans in cups,planting them in hills, stringing em on a pole because that's the way my Dad did it.
Much love Dad,
See ya later,
Net bird
p.s. I will read the bean package and make sure it says "pole beans"
