DONALD E. SWEASY
Don passed away peacefully on April 13, 2016 at the age of 87. He was born on March 25, 1929 in Rockford, IL. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Maggie, brother Bob Sweasy (Jane) of Green Bay, WI, daughter Pamela Hoskins (Michael), grandchildren Jennifer Smith, Tamara Heidecker (Cliff), Dennis Smith, Jack Smith (Andrea), seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He graduated from Huntington East High School in Huntington, WV in 1946. He spent two years at Marshall College before enlisting in the US Air Force. He proudly served his country in the Korean War. He enjoyed working as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Norwich-Eaton which is now Proctor and Gamble for 25 years. He lived a full life enjoying camping, boating, fishing with his family, but his real passion was building and flying model airplanes. Don was a true patriarch of the family, loving and caring, but firm and honest, with a unique sense of humor and a smile that warmed your heart.
