Donald Ray Spradley's Obituary
Passed on to a better place on Tuesday, October 29, 2013. He was born and raised in Tacoma, WA, where he returned to settle after serving his country for 20 years in the United States Air Force. After serving his country, he embarked on a second career in long-haul trucking transporting heavy equipment. He was a member of the American Legion, Staff Sergeant Association, Teamsters, and Eternal order of Eagles. His passions were NASCAR, Seahawks, fishing, and working on vehicles. He is survived by his children Henry Spradley, Raelynn (Larry) Phillips, Paula (Robert) Hudson, and Ronald Spradley; his grandchildren Marcus Hudson, Jacob Hudson, William Hudson and Sarah Hudson; great-grandchildren Jorgan Hudson and Jasmine Hudson. His surviving siblings are his sister Luella (Lloyd) Lowe, and brothers William (Rosemary) Spradley, Fred Spradley, and Robert ( Karen) Spradley, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Marie Spradley and brother Richard Spradley..
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 9 at 10:30at Mountain View Memorial Park, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW., Lakewood, WA in the lower part of the park. The service will be followed by a remembrance at 7308 S. Park at noon. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society or other charity of your choosing.
