My name is Jim Sabol and I was born in Tacoma on the same day as Don exactly one year later; April 12, 1934. His obituary tells me that we had much in common even though Don went to Lincoln and I went to Bellarmine. We were both teachers and had white hair, We even looked a little alike, although Don was better looking. I wish we had met, perhaps at Harbor Lights or an NEA convention.
As we take this journey through life, we meet people we like and some we really like. Well, certainly Don was in my really like column for 60 years.
