Donald Robert Hughes
Bob was born March 5, 1927 in Camp Lewis, WA to David and Lucille Hughes. He died on March 13, 2010 at age 83 in Puyallup, WA. He was raised in Mukilteo and attended Everett High School and Everett Junior College. He enlisted in the Army in 1945. He was a veteran of the Korea and Vietnam conflicts. He retired as Sgt. Major in 1978. He was a member of Lakewood Elks, Lebanon Masonic Lodge and Past Worthy Patron, Tacoma Chapter O.E.S and Rainbow Dad of M.A.K, 161. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Patrick, wives, Mary Elizabeth, Frances (Sparks). He leaves behind a son, David (Debra) Daughters, Patricia (Bob) Gerrits, and Molly (George) Mohler and 5 Grandchildren; Katie, Kelly, and Krista Gerrits and Andrea and Robert Hughes, niece and nephew Kathy Ross and Patrick Hughes and many friends. The family would like to thank Regency of Puyallup for his care. Services are March 19, 10 AM, in the Garden Chapel, at Mt. View Funeral Home in Lakewood.
