Donald Ray Morris' Obituary
Donald Ray Morris Sr. was born to Rufus and Venora Morris on February 29, 1948 in Bakersfield, California.
Following a long illness, Donald passed away on January 11, 2010, with his loving wife and immediate family members at his bedside.
Donald married Floritha Anderson in April of 1970. To this union Donald Jr. and Shannon were born. Donald brought to this marriage additional children; Michelle, Sharronda, Jason, and Lacy.
Donald left Bakersfield and joined the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. The family lived in Pittsburg, California before relocating to Tacoma, Washington in 1989. Donald loved spending time with immediate and extended family, traveling and riding his motorcycle.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife of 40 years, Floritha, sons Donald Jr., Shannon, Jason, and Lacy; daughters Michelle and Sharronda; 20 plus grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; brothers Rufus Jr., Tate Hill, Tim Hill, and Robert Armster; and sisters Shirlon Jackson and Ardra Douglas.
Included are a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members. The Anderson family and many, many friends.
