Donald R. Peiffer's Obituary
Don was born February 1, 1925 in Normal, Illinois. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 18, 2006 in Steilacoom, Washington.Don leaves behind his loving family who are going to miss him tremendously. His wife MaryJean, daughter Angela, son Charles (Nicole), his much loved and adored grandchildren, Zachary and Kaylee, and sister-in-law Marian. Don is also survived and will be missed by his brothers Larry (Dottie), Jim (Carline), sisters Rose (Pat), Marge (Wes), Kay (Cecil) and Ernie who all still reside in Illinois. And numerous other family member and friends.Don and MaryJean would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 5, 2006. They were married at the home of Colonel and Mrs. J.P. Barney in Steilacoom. After 22 years of service Don retired from the U.S. Army. He then went on to work as a Systems Manager for the Federal Bureau of Prisons until his retirement.At DonÂ's request there will be no service.
