Donald Henry Ost's Obituary
Donald Henry Ost Sr., 79 of Spanaway Washington went to Heaven peacefully, Saturday, January 9th at 7:50PM at Tacoma General Hospital.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:30PM, Saturday, January 23rd at Mountain View Memorial Park, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA 98499.
Donald was born January 19, 1936 in White Mountain, Alaska to John and Mary Ost. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, target shooting as well as just rambling around in the woods. He also enjoyed reading, gardening, taking pictures and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Donald is survived by one brother, John Ost, two sisters, Lola Austerman, Lois Marsden, his son, Donald Ost Jr., his four daughters, Dee Dee Davis, Jackie Dederick, Katharina Blancas, Jennifer Ost and oodles of grandchildren great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rita Ost, in 1992. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Graveside Service will be held Saturday, January 23 at 2:30 pm at Mountain View Memorial Park, followed by a Celebration of life at 3:00 pm in the Aspen Chapel and reception in the Willow Room, both in the Mountain View Celebration of Life Center.
