Donald Kemsey Newman's Obituary
Donald Kemsey Newman passed away April 2nd at precisely 12 noon of 2022. True to his prudent timing to choose a distinct moment.
He was born to George and Ruth Hollis Newman on July 15 of 1942 in Santa Rosa California.
Raised in this Tacoma region he attended and graduated Franklin Peirce Highschool in 1960.
Serving in the army and then graduating from Washington State with a degree in Engineering. He worked for Boeing and finished his career with the Naval Undersea warfare center in Keyport WA,
Donald married Linda Harrington of Tacoma in 1970, they were happily married until her death 2005. They were a childless couple but enjoyed snow shoeing, hiking, were avid travelers and explored all over the world. For a time, they operated a Christmas tree farm in Port Orchard.
In 2015 he married Edith Rahlf of Glasgow Montana; during their courtship and marriage they operated a small restaurant in Lakewood called the French Hen, until 2014.
Donald is proceeded in death by his only brother Richard Newman, his beloved first wife Linda, and leaves behind a niece Lacy Newman, and two nephews; Benjamin and Anson Newman.
Also twos step children Aubyn and David Curtiss.
Donald Newman was admired and respected by all who knew him. He was unreplaceable.
