Donald I. Leach's Obituary
Donald I. Leach Age 70, of Cave Creek, AZ, passed away on Nov. 20, 2015. Don was born in Vancouver, BC, Canada, and immigrated to Tacoma, WA with his family as a young boy. After graduating from Clover Park HS in 1963, Don served 6 years in the U.S. Marine Corps., including service in Vietnam. He married his wife Barbara in 1966 and moved to University Place in 1970, where he lived primarily for the next 34 years. Don was an automobile enthusiast, and worked his entire career in the automotive industry. Don is survived by his wife, Barbara, their daughter Annjanette Cooper (Dan), son Clifford (Leandra), and grandsons Evan Cooper, Aidan Leach, Henry Cooper, and Kellen Leach. He is also survived by his brother Gary (Diana), and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 19, at 1 p.m. at Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA. In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting donations to Vietnam Veterans of America, www.vva.org/support.html.
