I knew Donny from elementary and junior high school. He was kind and funny. He was my friend. So sorry to see that he left so early. Helen
Birth date: Apr 8, 1960 Death date: Jan 2, 2015
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of a beautiful soul. Donnie leaves behind a large and loving family and friends that includes his sisters, Irene Kennedy, Lynn Delany, Gloria Leach, Vicky Forsyth and brother Roge Read Obituary

I've always wondered what happened to Donnie until now. I grew up with Donnie in Salishan. Me, Donnie, Susan Wild, and Jimmy Bullard used to hang together as kids. It was fun times back then. RIP my friend.
My heart is so sad for all of you, I did not know Donnie for a long time but warmed to him the minute I meet him. He was such a sweet and kind man and loved to eat! Thought all of us girls were such good cooks! My wish for all of you is that as time passes the hurt will soften and you can fill a garden with all your loving memories of a beautiful man! I do truly love and care about all of you...Sending big hugs Shirley
I've been writing this in my head for days and as I reveiw the memories between the pages of your life I'm often overwhelmed. There is no memory more important than another. I was there in the beginning, holding your little hand and making sure you stayed out of trouble and at the end, holding your hand and sending you love along with every other person in the room. I may be older but you taught me some very valuable life lessons. You loved without judgement, you felt everyone deserves a friend and family is not defined by blood. This is evident in the friends you made along the way and , most recently, the friends you made where you lived. I'm conforted by this last year, with you attending the family parties and finally settling in as a family member will always be cherished. So my dear brother, I take comfort in knowing that heaven has received a gift and the gardens will be more beautiful with you tending to them. As I turn the last page of the life of a kind, generous and loving soul, I say to you, my gardens in heaven better be the most beautiful when I see you again!! Don't forget our date, I'll be looking for that footprint in the sand.
Loving you to heaven and back,
Your big sister, Irene

Donnie was a very loving , caring brother. I'm going to miss him dearly. I am so greatfull for the time that I had with him. When Donnie and I would go out to Roger, we went a different way each time because we would miss r turn. We both would just crack up laughing. His loving sister Vicky
