I love the image of Uncle Don and Aunt Barb dancing together again in Heaven. I have so many memories of them (and the rest of our parents and our grandparents) spending time together every summer. Someday we'll all meet there again.

Our condolence to the family on the passing of Don. We, here at Village Green had the honor of knowing Don who was always a gentleman and ready to help his fellow neighbors. May he rest in peace.
I'll never forget what a kind and loving man Uncle Don is. As cousin Anne mentioned, it was so touching to hear about his care for Aunt Barb when she was in the last years of her life. His faithfulness did not go unnoticed by God either. What a gift from God that his loving daughter Judy could tenderly care for her dad in his final years.
2 Samuel 22:25-27. Says
25 The Lord rewarded me for doing right.
He has seen my innocence.
26 “To the faithful you show yourself faithful;
to those with integrity you show integrity.
We will never forget you Uncle Don. You have inspired us to walk faithfully and with integrity.
Merilou and I have always been active campers and usually spent all of our vacation days in various campgrounds. When I would call dad and tell him we were camping somewhere he would always be very excited for us. He offered many words of encouragement and advice as well as sharing stories of where he and mom had traveled in their trailer. When we took a long trip to see the Grand Canyon we made a point of stopping in Moab, Utah because dad had mentioned that this was one of his and mom's favorite places to stay. We found the campground that they used and dad was very happy when I called him from this campground. This was a special bond that existed between us. I will miss our weekly visits on the phone. If there is camping allowed in heaven, I hope to a list of dad and mom's favorite sites.

Dad, thanks for sharing the last two years with Chris and I in our home; the memories we shared and the closeness we developed was a precious gift that will be cherished forever. Don't forget that you promised to say hi to Mom for me and to send me some sign that you two are rejoicing together with Jesus. I thank Jesus every day for honoring our prayers for a swift and peaceful transition for you as you moved from my house to His house. I love you, Dad; I'll see you later. Judy
