Donald Lee Kell's Obituary
Donald Lee Kell, a cherished father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on December 18, 2024, surrounded by his younger brother Gary and his devoted caretaker Jamie. At the age of 85, Don left this world with the same grace and dignity with which he lived his life.
Don is survived by his two beloved sons, Karsten and Kevin, and his brothers Gary and Larry. A retired Lieutenant Colonel, Don dedicated 10 years to active military service, including his courageous time as a Vietnam Veteran. He faced and overcame the challenges of malaria and Agent Orange, embodying resilience and strength.
For over 25 years, Don was a devoted member of VFW Post 2329, where he forged many lifelong friendships. His comrades remember him as a man with a strong soul, always ready to lend a helping hand. Don's legacy of kindness, bravery, and unwavering support for his community will be deeply missed.
All who knew Don would say he was a great man with a heart of gold. His presence brought comfort and joy to those around him, and his memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing him.
Rest easy, Don. We love you and will always remember you.
