Donald E Hampton died Saturday, June 22nd, 2019 at Park Rose Care Center in Tacoma.
He leaves behind his three sons Harry Hampton, David Hampton, and Scott Hampton.
Born in Durant Oklahoma and raised in Odessa Texas. His profession was a sheet metal worker in his earlier years. He served his country in the USMC Special Forces in the Vietnam War. He received numerous commendations including: Good conduct Metal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Combat Infantryman's Badge, Vietnam Parachute Badge, and the Vietnam Service Medal.
He loved to travel and adapt other cultures. During his travels in Indonesia he met and fell in love with his wife Anastasia. Several years later he started a family in Lakewood, WA, where he had his two sons Harry and David.
He always put other's needs before his own and was an unparalleled father full of love. He will be missed from everyone he left behind.
