Donald H. Lemon's Obituary
Donald H. Lemon 3/7/1921 - 8/5/2011 Donald Lemon passed away peacefully Aug. 5th, 2011 after a long battle with congestive heart failure. He was born in Stanton, WI, and grew up in Lakewood, WA. He graduated from Clover Park High School in 1940. Don served in the Army Air Corps in WWII, and retired from McChord AFB after 30 years of civil service. Don had many interests and talents. He was active in many choral music groups and musical theater productions, and loved camping, fishing, and hunting. His gentle spirit beneath his strong voice, his talent to fix anything, and his unique personality will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 901 N. "J", in Tacoma, at 11:00 AM, Sat., Aug. 20th. Reception to follow the service. Remembrances can be made to KING FM public radio station, or the McChord Air Museum.
