Hello, my name is Rebecca. You dont know me but I see that you have recently lost a loved one and I want to offer my sincere condolences. It's never easy losing those we love I have been through it myself. When I read just the part about Mr Tavern's battle with his illness, it touched me deeply. My mom has been losing her short term memory for a while now and she is 69. It really saddens me and my family and of course my father to see this happening. I wanted to share with you where I find comfort during difficult times like I know you are going through right now. I turn to the bible. You probably have your own religion and I honestly respect that. But I thought you would enjoy seeing what John 5:28,29 says. It reads,"Do not marvel at this the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come on out." So we are promised by our creator that we will one day soon be reunited with our loved ones. I look forward to that very much as I'm sure you do too. The other scripture is at Revelation 21:4 which says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away." When you take the time to really think about that verse, it's saying that soon there will be no more death. We wont have to worry about losing our loved ones or even dying ourselves. Also it said no more pain. Isn't it true that we all suffer from either physical or emotional pain or maybe both? Then it says, no more tears. Only happy tears. So the bible is giving us so much hope for the future. We all need hope no matter who we are. It helps us to get by each day. I would love to provide some bible based literature that explains the wonderful hope we can look forward to or even just more scriptures if you would like. Please just email me and I would love to hear from you. Again I want to offer my deepest sympathy. I hope you are surrounded by friends and family that can also be of help and comfort to you.
Sincerely,
