My Deepest sympathies for losing Don so early in life. We became friends on the waterfront & it grew when he worked at TOTE for SSA. Don was a caring individual & I will miss the opportunity to see him around at different places. Having been retired with serious injuries since 1996, I haven't worked with him since then but enjoyed visiting with him at different events or other places. To Lynda and Don's family, Please accept our condolences! I have known Knute since the 60's and we have shared so many of life's twists and turns and ups and downs together. We will miss him and his humor. I could always count on Knute to answer my question "What's happening Knute" with his response "me".

I am sorry to hear about Donny,as we grew up togather. we had a lot of fun as kids.he even went all the way to louisiana to visit me after i married and moved there. I haven't seen Don in years but, as a teenager and throughout college, I spent many evenings at his house with my family and I always marveled at how someone with no children could have such a fun place to visit! I remember hanging out in the hot tub, playing cards, and Don's fabulous cooking. Don was one of those guys who would do anything for his friends (and their children)and I know he was there for my parents on many occasions - including enticing them out to brunch on their 25th anniversary so my sisters and I could throw a surprise party for them.
Don will be missed.
