Donald E. BrayDonald E. Bray, 76, passed away on September 10, 2004. He was born June 29, 1928 in Douglas City, CA, to Dorn and Amee Bray. He spent most of life living in Tacoma, WA. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School, class of 1947. He owned and operated United Lamp Supply of Tacoma, which he started in 1968 and he retired in 1990. He was an avid sportsman who loved hunting, fishing, jeeping, model trains, tractors, and his beloved Country Coach motor home. He was co-founder of Tacoma Cascade 4x4Â's and Tacoma Crest Hoppers Jeep Clubs, and the Over the Hill Gang Racing Team. Donald was a Baja racer who won many races from Canada to Mexico. Also a member of Tacoma Elks, Cascade Coach Club, and attended Covenant Celebration Church of Tacoma. He was preceded in death by his father Dorn Bray; his step-father Chuck Danard; mother Amee Danard, and sister Patricia Hartman. He was a wonderful husband, father, role model, and will be greatly missed by his wife of 54 years, Anne Bray; sons David Bray (Cheryl), Edward Bray; his daughter Janette Stiles (Joe); grandchildren Jamie, Nicholas (Kacie), Stacey (Jason), Kandis and Jordan; great-grandchildren Makayla and Bradley Browning. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2004 at 1:00PM in the Mt. View Garden Chapel.
