Thank you for Rick , he's such a Mirror of you. You're in the perfect life now and we miss you more than we can express! (Dad,Grampa) Someday you will greet us and what a Happy reunion that will be. Remembering the Fun times at the cabin,fishing,hunting, talking about stuff and nature walks is what we'll do till then. Werthers forever! Love you! XO

I remember when he lived in Midland and my kids were little. He would give them fresh milk from his cow.
My grandpa and grandma were more then amazing!!! I have no words that can express how much Im going to deeply miss them!!!!!! I feel privileged to be apart of such an amazing family!!!!
Don was the doorman at our food bank. He always greeted everyone with a smile and a cheerful hello. He kept everyone's mind off their troubles while they waited in line and often joked with them to pass the time. He always made sure people knew where to go and what to do if it was their first time.. Everyone loved him and asked about how he was doing when he could no longer volunteer. He will be very hard to replace. Our condolences to the family who often volunteered their time to the food bank also (John and Terry). He talked about his 10 children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren all the time and was very proud of them all. We are so sorry for your loss. Julie Wiesen
We were neighbors of Don & Shirleys on 78th Ave. E. We lived 3 houses South of the property. I remember the cows getting out & us trying to herd them back in the gate & the little pig that followed Don around the fenceline. I remember the old school bell that was rung to bring the kids home when we moved there in early 76.

We had so many fun vacations together especially to all but one of the McMenemins in Washington and Oregon, one day trips to festivals, wineries, sightseeing, luncheons, church functions, Knights of Columbus, BBQ's in my yard and the golf game, and of course the card playing was crazy, because Don was always the winner, I accused him of pulling cards from his sleeve. He laughed so hard at me the looser all the time. He was definitely the master at 3-13. He was such a dear man and we will miss him so much. May You Rest in Peace Don! With Love, Bob & Annette
