Funny, gentle and always kind was my friend Don. Spent a month with him on a UW trip to Russia. He loved the family he stayed with, enjoyed learning about the country and was a master souvenir shopper. Beloved teacher, perpetual volunteer and truly kind soul, Don will be missed by many. May flights of angels sing you to thy rest dear Don as you sang us awake as our train pulled into Moscow.
