Dona Mae Galloway's Obituary
Dona was born April 7, 1933 in Eatonville, WA. She spent her school years in Tacoma and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1951. She married her high school sweetheart, Bruce Galloway, September 1, 1951 and had 4 daughters over the next few years. She was active in P.T.A.; Square Dance club; church; and Eastern Star. Hobbies and crafts were a big part of her life which included sewing, gardening, resin & fiberglass Art Deco, and pottery. She is survived by a younger sister, Shelia Bishop; her husband, J. Bruce Galloway; daughters Aleta Hill (Duane), Bunny Eccleston (Larry), Cecelia Whisler, and Carole Galloway; 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces and their families. Memorial service will be held Thursday June 13 at 1:30pm at Weatherly Inn, 6016 N Highlands Pkwy, Tacoma WA. Donations to your favorite charity in lieu of flowers are requested.
