Dona C. Corder's Obituary
We are saddened to announce the passing of Dona Corene Corder, age 81, on July 25, 2025 in Puyallup, WA.
Dona Corder was born on June 11, 1944 in Richmond, Virginia. She married her husband, Mervin Corder on September 10, 1964 and had a long, loving marriage of 55 years until his passing in 2019.
Dona was a kind and strong woman who loved a good mystery book and believed in always looking your best. The work she was most proud of was being a homemaker for her family. She enjoyed helping others and would do anything for those she loved.
She is survived by her two children, Sheila and John (Mary), as well as her grandchildren, Brett, Chase (Daisha), Alexis, Morgan, Jac, and Matthew. She also has two great-grandchildren, Ezekiel and Rowan. She is also survived by her siblings, Kaye her eldest, Paul (Paige), John (Julie), and Michael.
She will be laid to rest with her husband, Mervin, at Tahoma National Cemetery with private services to follow with her family.
