I broke down today when Bernice told me that you were gone. You were a blessing and joy in my life and I am lucky to have met you. Rest In Peace Don.
We were so sorry to hear of Don's passing. We will miss his great sense of humor and his enthusiastic approach to life. We are sorry we will not be able to attend Don's service, we are in Romsey England and are leaving on 12 day cruise around the British Isles on Sarurday, May 9.
We are so happy that we were able to enjoy so many Newport hills neighborhood Christmas season lunches with you and Don over the years.

Don was an awesome person -- he always made you laugh; he was so good on calling Tony and I during the year. Although we had not seen Don in several years, he was always in our hearts. Tony and Don share their birthdays on April 7th and Don was always good about calling -- we will miss him terribly but we know he at rest and feels at peace. May God be with his lovely wife and children -- I know this is a diffcult time for all of you but you have many, many memories of Don that will always be with each and every one of you. We love you -- the Filardo family.
