Donald Walter (DW) Fox (87) was born on December 12, 1936 to Tony and Ruth Fox in Puyallup WA. He completed the 9th grade at Puyallup High School and then went on to join the workforce and eventually landed in the drywall field. He founded Fox’s Drywall in the late 1950’s and spent many years mentoring many young men in this profession, some of whom have went on to be successful drywall business owners themselves. Fox’s Drywall grew to be one of the largest and well known drywall companies in the Pacific Northwest and is still operating today. Don is survived by his three children, Leann Olson(Steve), Tony Fox, and Donald Fox. His three grand children Keila Mcgahuey(Eric), Austin Olson(Katee), Bailey Fox(Brooke). And his 6 great grandchildren, London, Cash, Monroe, Mercer, Gray, and Lola. He is also survived by his brothers William Fox(Linda) and Tony Fox. He was preceded in death by his father Tony Fox, mother Ruth McCall, brothers Fred and Dick Fox and sister Connie Knoblauch. Don’s hobbies in his younger years were hunting and flat track racing. In his later
years he enjoyed golfing, traveling in his bus, and spending winters in Palm Springs. Something we all will remember about him was his love for dancing, and joke telling. Don passed away peacefully in his farmhouse on December 21, 2023 after battling Parkinson’s. He was loved and cared for in his final years by his significant other
Patti Jackson. Don’s kids are so grateful for all she has done for their dad. Please join us to remember DW with family and friends on January 18th, 2024 at
