Dolores Elizabeth Ormay's Obituary
Dolores E. Ormay passed away of Natural causes on April 5, 2016 in Puyallup, Washington. She was 99 years old.
Dolores was born October 12, 1916 in Butte, Montana to her parents Fred and Ana Klapstein. She graduated from Stadium High School in 1934 and went on to graduate from the Tacoma General Hospital nursing program in 1937. She worked for Dr. Maddison and Dr. Charles Galbraith until her retirement at 75.
Dolores was a wonderful, strong woman who always put others before her. She was selfless, compassionate and took great care of her family. She had a passion for reading and education and was a self-learner throughout life, eagerly imparting her wisdom to others. In her retirement she enjoyed travel, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
Dolores is survived by her daughter Jayne E. Ormay, and her grandchildren Crystal Alvarez and Jesse Philes. She is preceded in death by her brothers Alfred and Walter Klapstein and her sister Helen Klapstein.
Dolores will have a graveside service at Mountain View Memorial Park on April 16th, 2016 at 10 :00 a.m. Throught a full and active life, Dolores has influenced many people and she will be sorely missed by all who have known her. We all take comfort in knowing she now has eternal life and happiness in Heaven.
