Dolores Mae Ladeen's Obituary
Dolores Mae Ladeen, 88, passed on November 22, 2020. She was born in Tacoma Washington on May 18, 1932 the daughter of Al and Kay Eckrom ( who actually shared her birthday May 18th) . She was the oldest child of 3 children. Sister Gloria and later step brother Jerry. She was a High School graduate and later married Donald Paulsen and had 3 children of her own... Son Del, Daughter Debi and Daughter Dawne.
She took a job at Seldons Furniture in downtown Tacoma and later in Lakewood where she made her name known as top interior decorator. In 1972 she met and married Dick Ladeen and inherited yet another daughter Sheryl. One of her last jobs was working for Kirk Company in Puyallup running the Christmas wreath gift box program. She enjoyed life memories, fishing trips, and retirement trips to Australia and Hawaii with her husband of 41 years, until his passing in 2012.
Her loving past times included crocheting a multitude of afghans for her family, bird watching from her treasured backyard patio swing, and baking up her Mothers famous Fruitcake recipe at Christmas time.
She is survived by her sister Gloria (Terry), Step-brother Jerry (Carol), her son Del, daughters Sheryl (Jake), Debi and Dawne and a crew of 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Her legacy will live through them forever.
She will be missed by many good friends and neighbors.
