Dina Chiaburu's Obituary
On Monday, June 13, 2022, Dina ended her walk this side of heaven, and, surrounded by her loving family, went to be with the Lord. She had fought the good fight and had finished the race. At the age of 54, Dina went to be with the One that she loved and served her entire life.
Born on January 31, 1968, in Risipeni, Moldova, Dina was the fifth of the ten children born in the family Lora and Pavel Sandu. Preceded in death by her mother, Dina’s passing brings much suffering in the hearts of Veaceslav, her husband of over 30 years, her 3 children, 3 grandchildren, her father, 4 brothers, and 5 sisters.
Dina was a wonderful mother to her daughters Lira and Roberta and to her son Pavel. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, a wise friend and a dedicated servant in her church. She loved her Lord, loved the church, and loved all people. She never met a stranger; around her everyone felt welcomed. As a member of the Baptist Church in her natal village, and then of Golgotha Baptist Church in Tacoma, Dina was a Godly woman and an example for all in faith, patience, love, and grace. Meeting every one of life’s challenges with a smile and a word of wisdom, Dina was always ready to serve. Her health challenges, that at times seemed too hard and too many, could not dim her smile, nor deter her from serving with all her heart. She is greatly misses by everyone that knew her!
Until we meet again, Dina! You will forever live in our hearts!
