In loving memory of my twin sister, Dee Dee:
Dee Dee was a sweet, loving, gentle, modest, peaceful, beautiful soul who always put others before herself. She loved family, antiques and the birds and wild animals that would come amongst the flowers in her lovely garden. She adored her daughter Heather. She loved deeply and truly and gave much all her life. She was God's gift to us. Through all the surgeries, radiation, chemo and treatments she never once complained but continued with her will to live and love life fully. She fought so hard to survive...
Every day of our lives we talked and exchanged everything. I will be forever grateful for the love, happiness and closeness we had. You were my twin, my confidante and my best friend. Words cannot express the bond we shared. I love you so... This is not good-bye, we will be reunited in God's time. I know you are watching over us all. Now you are truly the angel you've always been and your spirit soars joyously on your wings through God's Kingdom. Fly among the stars, Dee Dee, fly free...
