Diane Marie Hansen's Obituary
Tacoma – Diane M. Hansen, 70, of Tacoma, Washington passed away peacefully on August 28, 2024 with her family by her side.
Diane was born on January 3, 1954 in Tacoma, Washington as the daughter of Herbert Seesz and Bonnie Fredhom. She married Louis Hansen in 1974, became an Army spouse, and had three beautiful children. She was a devoted mother and wife who took great joy in raising her family. Her hobbies were reading, doing crossword puzzles, collecting figurines, and talking to loved ones.
Later in life, Diane earned a Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate from Clover Park Technical College and worked at Orchard Park Nursing Home taking care of elderly patients for 17 years. She took great lengths to deliver a high quality of care to residents and was recognized for her great performance at that facility.
Surviving loved ones include her sons, Chris Hansen and Brian Hansen, her daughter, Jennifer Hansen, and her grandson, Max Hansen. She was especially close to Max and enjoyed spending time with him.
A memorial service celebrating Diane’s life will be conducted by her son, Brian Hansen, on September 13, 2024 at the Celebration of Life Center, Aspen Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home. Following this ceremony, loved ones will commit her ashes to a vault in the same cemetery.
