Dewey Patrick Plankers' Obituary
Dewey Patrick Plankers passed away August 5, 2015. He was remembered for being the son of Dewey Plankers popular political figure for Pierce county and state in the 1950's and 1960's. Patrick, as he was called later as a man, graduated from Lincoln High School in Tacoma. He traveled a lot through out the United States settling for a time in California and Oregon. He was seen riding and walking his horse in the 100 mile races along the Sierras winning many buckle trophies. In his later years he settled in Idaho becoming the founder of the Boise Baby Boomers, a meet up group of over 1700 strong. He was always know for looking out for the newcomers until they felt comfortable in the new group. He is survived by his son Jason, brother Michael, and sisters Lynda, Sharon and Debby. His brother Robert had predeceased him along with his father.
He will be buried April 30 at 1:30 beside his parents. Anyone wishing to attend please contact Debby at (916) 212-2670.
