Desser Mae Green was born September 21, 1923, In Panola County,
Texas. Desser Mae was born to the union of the late Raltion Hicks Sr.
and Emma Williams Hicks
In 1946 Desser Mae left Texas to find work in Washington State. Here
she met and fell in love with her soulmate the late Edward Green. They
were married June 9, 1948 and were blessed with two daughters Lela
Darlene and Joyce Mae and one son Charles Edward, all of Tacoma.
Desser Mae worked for 30+ years at Fort Lewis Laundry. She loved
fishing, sewing, baking and caring for her family. Desser Mae leaves to
cherish her precious memories, Two daughters Lela Darlene (AL) and
Joyce Mae; Son Charles, Brother Ralph Hicks Jr (Nelva) of Beckville,
Tx 12 Grandchildren 24 Great Grand Children, 11 Great-Great Grand-
children., and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends
