Dennis Robert Green's Obituary
Dennis R. Green was born August 16, 1940 in Cleveland, OH to Henry and Betty Green. He passed away March 4, 2014 in Tacoma, WA. He attended grade school and high school in Cleveland. He entered active duty in the Army in August 1960 and retired in September 1980. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, and later was employed at Madigan Army Medical Center as a ward clerk before he retired. Dennis was a person who spoke his mind but would do anything for you. He was a good husband and father, a good neighbor and a generous person. He was married to Denise Longfellow in April 1964. From this union, they had two children, Gregory and Michelle. His father and mother preceded him in death. Dennis leaves to morn his passing, his wife of 49 years Denise; son, Gregory; daughter, Michelle (Tom); brother, Gary (Susan) of Ft. Meyers, FL; and a niece, Valerie and nephew, Nick.
A viewing will be Wednesday, March 12th from 1p to 6p at Mt. View. Graveside Services will be 10:30a Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Mt. View Memorial Park in Lakewood, WA. A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at The Puyallup Church of The Nazarene, 1026 7th Ave SW, Puyallup, WA.
