Dennis Martin Barth's Obituary
Dennis Martin Barth passed away on August 13, 2014. He was born in Tacoma, WA on June 16, 1942. He graduated from Stadium High School in 1960. After high school Dennis joined the U.S. Air Force, He was on a Strategic Air Command Fairchild Air Force Base Spokane, WA and was stationed Greenland for a year. While he was at Fairchild Air Force Base he got to meet President Johnson. In the Air Force he was trained as a mechanic and worked on KC-135s and C-130s until his honorable discharge in 1965. He was always proud of his service for his Country.
Dennis married Kathleen (Lorraine) in 1963 and they were married for 36 wonderful years until her passing in 2003. They had two children Patricia and Kenneth. When he left the Air Force he worked as a Letter Carrier in Branch 130 for the United States Post Office. After 40 years of working for the USPS he retired in 2005.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Ellsworth and Mildred Larson and his beloved wife Kathleen; who passed away on July 13, 2003. He is survived by his two children Patricia Barth of Tacoma and Kenneth Barth of Tacoma; and many family & friends.
Dennis will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife at Mountain View Memorial Park.
