Denise Cruz Crumble's Obituary
Our beloved Denise C. (Garcia) Crumble passed away on the evening of June 6th, 2023, at Good
Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Washington with her loved ones by her side. She was 67 years
wise. Denise was born in Los Angeles, California to Elvira and Benjamin Torres on June 26th,
1955. She was a resident of the Fredrickson-Tacoma area in Washington for approximately 12
years upon returning from Dayton, Ohio where she lived with her devoted husband and family
for 15 years. Denise was preceded in death by her loving husband Davy Crumble; her father
Benjamin Torres; parents Elvira (Vera) & James McKee; brother Richard Nava; ex-husband and
friend Benjamin (Danny) Garcia; her longest and dearest friend Maria Ballard. Those left to
treasure her sweet and loving memory are her beloved children; Sons Benjamin Garcia, Eddie
Crumble, and Adrian Lawrence; loving daughters Danae Garcia (Jerry) and Quatima Truscott;
her bonus daughter Jacqueline Fields; granddaughters Dalysia (Brandon), Kaylisha, Kera,
Kamise, Alyssa, Alysson and her only grandson Datreon; great-grandchildren Brandon Jr and
Drayden; God Children Alexis (Peanut) Young and David Crumble; Brothers John Nava,
Benjamin Torres (Lisa), James McKee; sisters Anita Ford (Jerry) and Clara Casillas (Fernando);
Best friend JoAnn (Bobby) and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of
friends. Denise will be cremated and celebrated at Mountainview Funeral Home in Lakewood,
Washington on June 25th from 1-4pm in the Oak Room. To have met Denise was truly to
have met an angel impersonating a wonderful human being and she will be immensely missed
and loved by many.
