Deloris Anita Krakow West Deloris Anita Krakow West, after a battle with cancer, passed away quietly September 1, 2004 in Tacoma, WA. She was born in Hawley, MN on July 28, 1922 to John & Agnus Wouters. Deloris was preceded in death by her elder brother, Warren, her loving husbands David Krakow and Charles West. Deloris is survived by her children, Pauline, Paul (Sarah), Peter (Elke), several grandchildren as well as great grandchildren. She is also survived by her Sister-in-law, Irene Wouters, two nephews, Ken & John Wouters of Hawley MN. Surviving children of her marriage to Charles are Caroline (Fred) Beckman, Bob (Stephanie) West, and Elizabeth Stevens. Deloris lived a full and productive life. She worked for the state department at the Pentagon during World War II. Deloris moved to the Northwest in 1953 and married David Krakow (Died 1967). She worked at the Pacific National Bank of Washington and became a branch manager and retired in 1984. Along with her late husband, Charles West (Died 2001), Deloris was a member of the Fircrest Country and Golf Club for 53 years. She was also a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Lakewood, WA for 47 years. A viewing will be held Saturday, September 11, 10:30 AM at Mountain View Funeral Home, followed by a graveside memorial at 12:30. A reception will follow immediately at the Tacoma Country and Golf Club.
