Deboraha Garnett Davis-Babbs July 27, 1954 - December 29, 2009
Deboraha was born to Richard Sr. and Nancy Davis. In September 1973, she married Collie Babbs Sr., with whom she had 5 beautiful children, Sammy (Julianne) Cubean Sr., Colette, Collie Jr., Kareem Sr. (Toni), and Rashad Babbs. She was also the proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren, Nakeisha Babbs, Geno Horsley III; Germe Poston, Alyshya, Sammy Jr., and Jamal Cubean; Collie III and Shaylah Babbs; Kareem Jr., Kashaud, Kollie, and Kametrius Babbs. Deboraha is survived by her children, grandchildren and siblings, Richard Davis Jr., Carol Davis, Sally Henley, John Davis, Cynthia Lamm, and Stephanie Dysert. Debbie, Our Mama, also Mama to all she knew, the Woman who could take the place of all others, but whose place no one else can take.
Viewing will be held Monday, January 4, 2010 at Mountain View Funeral Home from 1pm - 9pm. Services will be held at 1pm Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Shiloh Baptist Church, reception to follow.
