Deborah A. McGowan's Obituary
Deborah Ann McGowan the daughter of the late Earl N. Carter and her 87-year-old mother Katrina A. Carter. Debbie attended the Marlboro Central School District where she met four lifelong friends, Cyndi (Cosman) Blankenship, Cathy (Bochichio) Pavero, Darlene (McKoy) Spencer, and Stacey (Coleman) Landor, they all graduated together in 1976. Debbie was an athlete playing volleyball, winning championships and a cheerleader.
Kenny and Debbie were joined in marriage on March 26, 1978 in Woodstock, NY, loving each other from the first look.
Debbie was employed by Century Link for 39 years, she was a very dedicated and loyal employee.
Left to mourn our cherished memories; her husband Kenny McGowan; daughter Kayla (Jason), grandchildren Donovan, Liam and Delilah are the love of grammie’s heart. Son Korey (Shannisha and her daughter Teehara); her 92-year-old mother-in-law Esther T. McGowan; brother-in-law Jesse D. McGowan; oldest sister Gwendolyn; brother Michael Carter of New York; Niece and Nephew Monique and Javon and a host of cousins and very close friends in the state of Washington; and Tina D. Berry, TaJahne D. Ford, Amya M. Ford, Amari D. Ford, Jaiyah R. Ford, and Charles "Christian" E. Berry. Debbie is preceded in death by her father-in-law Willie J. McGowan.
