Dean A. Kellogg's Obituary
Dean Kellogg has gone fishing, joining his beloved companions Marley and TC. The son of Daryl B. Kellogg and Arlene Gamin Kellogg, Dean was a lifelong resident of Tacoma and a graduate of Mt. Tahoma High School. An avid fishing enthusiast, he passed away at the home built by his father on Park Avenue after a long illness.
Dean was a gifted and creative individual, working in stained glass, scrimshaw engraving, and woodworking. He designed and crafted stools, cabinets, walking canes, and enjoyed taking on a variety of projects around the house. A lover of western-themed art, he was also an enthusiastic collector of popular cultural items.
Dean had a deep love for the outdoors, his pets, and was always ready to lend a hand to friends and anyone in need. He was proceeded in death by his loving companion Linda Pruse. Dean is survived by his brother, Raymond Kellogg; nephews, Justin and Devin; and great-nephews, Colby and Avery. He will be deeply missed.
A gathering to celebrate Dean’s life will be announced at a later date for friends and family.
