Dean Benjamin YormarkFebruary 14, 1955 Â- July 31, 2004Graduate of Western Washington University, 1976. Married Brenda Griffin October 5, 1976. Dean was a journeyman marine electrician at several shipyards. He especially enjoyed the last 13 years at Delta Marine Industries as a Purchasing Agent. Accomplished musician; devoted husband to Brenda, loving father to Nicole; a great friend to all. Dean loved a good joke, and held on to his sense of humor to the very end. He loved to cook and entertain his friends with his never ending knowledge of just about everything. Dean enjoyed going to the movies with Brenda, working on his computer, and listening to his huge collection of classical music. Dean and Brenda were well known in North Tacoma for the walks that they took every day. Dean was especially proud to see his daughter Nicole married to her soul mate Gus, last November. He will be missed very much. Dean is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda, and daughter Nicole (Gus) Byzinker. Other survivors include his brother, Mark (Kathy) Yormark, and parents, Dr. Ben and June Yormark. The family greatly appreciates Terri and Chris Larson, and the management and employees at Delta Marine Industries for all their support. Thanks for the chicken soup, Joycee; and all the friends who lent a hand and a hug. Thanks also to the Camerons and other neighbors for all the big and little things they did for Dean and his family. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society, or a charity of your choosing.Services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 7, 2004, in the Mountain View Valley Chapel.
