Dawn I. Stone's Obituary
Dawn Irene Stone
9/21/53- 5/5/09
After a courageous and brief battle with cancer, beloved mother, grandmother, partner, sister and friend to all went to be with her Father in Heaven surrounded by family on May 5, 2009. She left us all too suddenly and will be missed by many. She leaves behind Stephen, partner of 25 years, children Joseph, Troy, Crystal, Kelli, and Gina. She was a Damma of 14, with one grandchild and great grandchild on the way. She was an avid Mariners and Seahawks fan and loved family events of any kind. She loved work and her job and her extended family at Hallmark Manor, where she was a dedicated employee for nineteen years. She will be remembered for the love of family, friends, work, butterflies, dolls, jolly rancher's candy, Elvis and Betty Boop. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to her family at Hallmark Manor and other LCCA employees that worked to make her final day's ones that gave her a sense of being loved and belonging. A special heartfelt thanks to Emil her nurse at Tacoma General whose caring compassion during her final day was evident in all that he did to make her comfortable. Dawn had one final reminder as she was leaving us: That message was -Å"Quit Smoking now!- Until we meet again: -Å"Boop Boop Bedoop.-
