David K. Williams' Obituary
David K. Williams was born July 24th 1925 in Tillamook, Oregon. The family moved to Aberdeen, Washington in the mid 30s. A lot of Dave's life is a mystery to us, but as the depression molded him, so did WWII. He joined the marines, and was sent to the south Pacific towards the end of the war.
After returning he attended various colleges. In 1953 he married his wife Gayle, and started his career as a teacher. He loved sports, coached, and was an athletic director. He continued this path, becoming a vice principal until his retirement at 55.
He was always involved in the community, running the clock at games, always helping out in the lions club.
So many memories, summer hikes, golf picnics, travel. Always a gardener, he loved his dahlias.
He raised two kids, Craig, and Cindy. He had two grandkids, Amber and Ashley. 6 grandkids, and a whole lot of school kids! He made quite an impression on many people around the area. Always friendly, and ready to help.
He will be missed, he was quite a guy.
David is survived by his son Craig Williams, his wife Sally. Two grand daughters, Amber Milfred, husband Dan, and Ashley Williams. Six great grandchildren Abigail, Elizabeth, and Isabelle milfred. Kingsten Shields, Warren and Evelyn Ortler. Sister in law Jeanne Gronli, and several nieces, and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, George, and Pat Williams, his brother Dan Williams, his wife Gayle Williams, daughter Cindy Williams, and great granddaughter Lillyen Shields.
