David Lee Taylor Williams' Obituary
David Lee Taylor Williams, age 90, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on June 11th, 2022. He was born October 21, 1932 in Thomasville, GA to Ocie Williams.
David served in the Army for 20 years with a tour in both Korean and Vietnam Wars. He acquired the military status of Staff Sargent and while serving in Korea, he met and married Kae Sun Williams, who preceded his death April 4th, 2008. Together they had two sons and lived in the Tacoma area.
For many years, David worked as a utility worker for the City of Tacoma. He loved his work and was passionate about everything he did. In his spare time he enjoyed being around friends and family, eating food, and listening to music. He was content in his life but would go out of his way to help another. His favorite holiday was the 4th of July and he was very proud of his country. A true American. A real patriot.
David always demanded respect but was polite about his approach. He could recite the 9 supreme court justices, first and last names. His smile was kind and his presence was graceful. He was vibrant and had a way with ladies. But most importantly, he loved his family very much.
David is survived by David Lorez Taylor Williams(Son), Gregory Anthony Williams(Son), Gregory Russell Williams(Grandson), Gregory Montgomery Williams(Grandson), Bella Noelle Williams(Grand daughter), Harrison David Martin Williams(Grandson), Moses Williams(Great grandson), Matthew Williams(Great grandson), including many beloved relatives in the State of Georgia. Everyone loved him dearly and we will never forget the legacy he built. He will be deeply missed.
