David W. Hurlow
"Bud"
Bud, a native of Tacoma, was born on July 30, 1927 and left this world on March 3, 2010 after having a stroke two and a half years ago. He is now free to enjoy a game of golf. During his life he was co-owner of Lakewood Fuel Oil Company, which was a family run business. During his leisure time he enjoyed bowling and golfing at Oakbrook Golf and Country Club and many courses in Hawaii and Florida. Bud was a member of Lakewood Rotary and a charter and lifetime member of the Lakewood Elks. Bud leaves behind two sons; Brian and Todd, grandchildren Joshua and Courtnie and the love in his life Jan Padget. He also leaves two brothers, Rod (Jeanette) and Edward (Marilyn) and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Eileen. Our thanks and appreciation to the caregivers at University Place Care Center. We will celebrate having Bud in our lives at 1:00 pm on Thursday March 11, 2010 at Mountain View Funeral Home, Aspen Chapel.
