David C. Tempel's Obituary
David Christian Tempel passed peacefully on December 28, 2024 after a long and life-threatening illness.
Dave was a longtime resident of Lakewood, WA, having moved there with his military family in 1967.
He was an accomplished musician on piano and guitar and enjoyed choral singing, in school and church.
Dave was involved in Boy Scouts in his youth. He was an avid hiker and high-country backpacker.
Dave worked primarily as a university instructor in math and chemistry lab settings.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Donald G. And Dora M. Tempel.
He is survived by siblings, Debra, Susan, and Mark. He is also survived by 7 nieces and Nephews: Rosanne, Arik, Valerie, Ashley, Kelsey, Layla, and Derek.
