David Silvio Teodoro's Obituary
David Silvio Teodoro, Sr. Born on January 4, 1924 in Tacoma, WA. Dave was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He went home to be with his Lord on Friday, September 17th. After attending Stadium High School, Dave became a machinist at Globe Machine Manufacturing. He founded Automated Systems of Tacoma, Inc. in 1965, and nurtured the business for over 30 years before passing it on to his 3 sons. Beyond his love for his Lord and his family, Dave was passionate about machinery and woodworking. He was highly skilled and very competent in designing and manufacturing automatic equipment. He loved his work and his employees. Dave & Marian were members in the GallopinÂ' Gertie Model Â"AÂ" club. They were also active in their church, Believers Fellowship, where Dave served as a deacon; exercising his well-trained servantÂ's heart. He will be remembered by his many friends as a man of integrity, generosity, faithfulness, and devotion to his family.Dave is survived by his dearly loved wife Marian, of 58 years; his sister Mary, brother Gene (Fran); Three sons: Dave Jr. (Nancy), Don (Carol), Dick (Bo). Eight grandchildren: Mark (Esther), Michelle, Mike (Rachel), Scott (Erica), Chad, Josh, Steve, Brett; Two great-grandchildren: Aidan, Isabella (to Mike & Rachel).A celebration of his life will be held at Believers Fellowship on Tuesday, September 21st, at 1:00 pm; 4112 Hunt Street NW; Gig Harbor; 253-851-9286. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Believers Fellowship.
